2. Visit SeaWorld San Diego

SeaWorld is known for its extravagant shows featuring ocean animals like sea lions, dolphins, and orcas. You'll also find aquariums filled with sea life and even a walk-through shark tank. You'll quickly realize that SeaWorld is an aquarium, zoo, theme park, and animal research facility, all wrapped up into one location encompassing almost 200 acres of Mission Bay. 4. Visit the San Diego Zoo

5. Explore the San Diego Botanical Garden

The San Diego Botanical Garden is a 37-acre garden consisting of four miles of trails with many different themed gardens. There are even gardens that are targeted towards kindergarten-age children and younger! They'll find buried plastic dinosaurs, playhouses, model railroad tracks, and much more! For older kids, there's a labyrinth, giant tic-tac-toe board, and treehouse to climb.
