2. Sunset Cliffs

This gorgeous stretch along the Point Loma peninsula is a popular destination for people to explore, hike, and relax while the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean. From breathtaking jagged cliffs to the open ceiling sea cave, you're sure to snap some great photos. 

 

3. Old Town

Old Town is a historic neighborhood with some of the most delicious Mexican food and best backdrops in the area. It includes historic architecture, colorful dancers, beautiful landscape, festive decorations, and more. You'll find a photogenic opportunity around every corner!

 

4. Seaport Village

5. Scripps Pier

6. Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve

Torrey Pines is home to the Pinus torreyana, one of the nation's rarest pine trees. For a great photo-op, you can hike along wildflower-filled trails and capture the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean below. Another popular spot is Broken Hill, located on the border of Del Mar and La Jolla. It's on the southern half of the park and is a great place to watch the sunset over the ocean. 

 

7. Flower Fields in Carlsbad Ranch

While it's a bit of a trek north from the Comfort Inn Gaslamp, the flower fields are a great photography spot. It includes 50 acres of flower fields open to the public between March and May for photos and tours throughout the day. You'll want to check out their website for ticket information
